Long overdue photos, part two: a walk to Grantchester in the last summery weekend of the year.

Paris in pictures, part two.
There are even more pictures (yep) and a proper write up over at the other place.

- Met my favourite author not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES (and randomly bumped into him like five other times);
- Went from mumbling awkwardly at him the first time to hugging him the third;
- Managed to get tickets to a TINY event featuring the aforementioned favourite author and two amazing musicians, where in the wee hours of the morning songs were sung and stories and poems were read while we sat wide-eyed on cushions on the floor;
- Saw my favourite band play a great set full of older songs;
- Made Bryce laugh with my pictorial attempt to request Lemonworld (no luck, but I shan’t complain);
- Went to three other GREAT concerts (The Twilight Sad doing an acoustic gig where they covered The Cure and Depeche Mode, plus Jason Webley, and Amanda Palmer)
- Saw my favourite author sing(!) on three different occasions;
- Saw six excellent Fringe plays;
- Met the authors of my two favourite books that I’ve read this year (The 10PM Question and A Monster Calls), both of whom were really nice to me;
- Got said books signed;
- Climbed the Salisbury Crags and enjoyed the amazing view;
- Did all of this in my favourite city in the world.
I’ll write properly about much of the above later, but for now: best.holiday.ever. I’m absolutely exhausted, but also truly revived.
